Katelyn’s Kause is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization founded in memory of a very courageous and brave girl, Katelyn Knebel from Warwick, N.Y.
Katelyn lost a long and hard battle against cancer in 2004. Sometimes when a beautiful life is lost, it inspires a legacy. From sadness and grief, something positive arises. That is what happened in this case.
Katelyn’s Uncle Gary (Knebel) and several of his co-workers at Mid-Orange Correctional Facility held a softball tournament to raise funds and donated the proceeds to the charity of Katelyn’s choice. From this idea arose Katelyn’s Kause.
Katelyn’s Kause is based out of Warwick, N.Y. and is a proud subsidiary of “Cops Care”, a New York State Police and Correction Officers Benevolent Association Inc. (NYSCOPBA)
